The Non-Ablative Nd yag skin Rejuvenation is more appealing to our clients because of it’s low downtime. The process results in microvascular renewing, fibroblast stimulation, and new collagen remodeling. The end result will be smoother looking skin and smaller pore sizes, characterized by improvements in skin tightness, tone, and texture.
Our unique skin rejuvenation called “Smooth Mode” is a more aggressive approach within the treatment. The end result includes in remodelling and stimulation of new collagen providing a tighter and smoother feel to the skin.
FRAC3 Skin Rejuvenation is our special non-ablative modality used for dermal rejuvenation. FRAC3 Treatments stimulate the skins natural capacity to rejuvenate by selectively inducing micro-wounds in prematurely aged or damaged portions of the dermis and epidermis.

What is Nd Yag Skin Rejuvenation?
The Nd Yag photo-collagen Skin rejuvenation treatment is based on the absorption of Nd Yag laser energy by hemoglobin with partial coagulation of the microvasculature in the papillary dermis and release of inflammatory mediators. The process results in microvascular renewing.
In general the treatment does not require anesthesia. To ensure our clients maximum comfort, skin cooling may be used during this treatment.
What is our Lunch hour "Facelift"?
Our Nd:Yag laser is a 1064 nanometer laser which penetrates to the collagen layer in your skin to gently heat and stimulate new growth of collagen resulting in tightening of the skin.
This very safe and non-invasive procedure is often called “the lunch hour face lift”. Collagen is the “backbone” or structure to our skin, much like the framework to a house.
FRAC3 SKIN REJUVENATION
What is FRAC3 Skin Rejuvenation
The FRAC3 modality is a special non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment used in the dermal level of the skin. This module has made it possible by the superior performance characteristics of the Nd Yag laser.
The laser action creates a 3 dimensional matrix of micro-wounds which are concentrated at the specific depths of the existing skin damage.
The natural healing response of the skin then acts to repair the micro- wounds, thereby rejuvenating the skin.
Why are these treatment performed?
As we age, our collagen bands relax, causing our skin to sag and develop lines and wrinkles. Just like going to the gym and lifting weights stresses muscles, resulting in new muscle growth and toning, this deep heating of the collagen also results in new collagen growth.
This new growth can result in up to a 40% tightening of skin. FRAC3 does cause bulk heating along with the specific fractionated heating of imperfections.

In contrast with other laser rejuvenation treatments this gentle, non ablative anti aging treatment provides results with no down time.
SMOOTH MODE SKIN REJUVENATION
What is Smooth Mode Skin Rejuvenation
The Smooth Mode Skin Rejuvenation is based on a burst (train) of Short pulse mode Er; Yag laser pulses in which the cumulative fluences of the burst of pulses can be defined by the technician.
The repetition rate of the burst is fixed (auto).
The predefined laser pulse widths and repetition rate give Smooth Mode a larger degree of thermal effect in the skin than conventional Er;Yag laser treatment settings.
It is the thermal effect that stimulates collagen remodeling.
Post Treatment Guidelines
Side effects may be slight, transient erythema and a sensation of heat in the treated area.
3-6 follow up visits are recommended at 4-6 weeks intervals.
It is important to discuss the level of follow up treatments with us
So that it is clearly understood that the follow up treatments will keep the collagen in a positive growth phase in order to maintain and enhance the results.
Wrinkles will continue to vanish over the 12 months after the initial treatment, as the natural rejuvenation process takes course.
The decreasing activity of fibroblasts in the connective tissue and the decreasing tightness and thickness of collagen fibres in the papillary dermis are the main causes of skin ageing. As we age, our collagen bands relax, causing our skin to sag and develop lines and wrinkles.
Chemical peels and micro dermabrasion are popular skin rejuvenation options but their relatively low efficiency and the high risk of papillary damage and scarring, there are major draw backs.
